Taft posted their closest win since November 20, 2025 on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Chavez Titans 44-42. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Fynnley Arnold continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double with 21 points and 19 boards. That's the most points she has posted since back in January of 2025. Another player making a difference was Alaysia Taylor, who went 5-for-9 to rack up 10 points and five rebounds.

Taft smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. They are 13-3 when they hit their own glass that hard.

Taft's record now sits at 15-8. As for Chavez, they moved to 8-13 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Taft will square off against rival Wasco at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Juliet Woodards and Vianey Velasquez. Meanwhile, Chavez is set to challenge their familiar foe Kennedy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
