It was a good run, but Wilcox unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell to the Mountain View Spartans 46-41. The Chargers lost against the Spartans in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 68-38 score last time.

It was another big night for Alana Hernandez, who posted 24 points for Mountain View. The match was Hernandez's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamya Patwardhan, who scored eight points and five boards.

Wilcox's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 8-5. As for Mountain View, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

Wilcox will look to defend their home court on Friday against Gunn at 6:15 p.m. As for Mountain View, they are taking a road trip to face off against Cupertino at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
