Basketball Recap: Globe Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Globe was feeling good fresh off their 64-31 takedown of Catalina last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers took a 59-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the San Tan Foothills Sabercats on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Sabercats: they've now lost eight in a row.

San Tan Foothills got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kaden Smith out in front who went 6-for-9 en route to 12 points and six steals. Those 12 points gave Smith a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Julius Carlisle, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds.

Globe's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for San Tan Foothills, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Globe and San Tan Foothills will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Tigers see the court they'll take on Valley Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026. As for San Tan Foothills, their break will end when they face Walden Grove at 1:00 p.m. on January 2, 2026.
