Adrian/Ellsworth barely beat Russell-Tyler-Ruthton the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Dragons' pitchers stepped up to hand the Knights an 8-0 shutout on Saturday. Considering the Dragons have won five matchups by more than seven runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Adrian/Ellsworth moved to 10-6 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Russell-Tyler-Ruthton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-6-1.

Adrian/Ellsworth wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 8-3 defeat against Dawson-Boyd on the 26th. As for Russell-Tyler-Ruthton, they have also already played their next game, an 8-2 win against Wabasso on the 23rd.
