Softball Recap: Pueblo South Wins Going Away Against Pueblo East

Pueblo South's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They blew past the Pueblo East Eagles 13-4. The Colts haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Bella Sniff made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits. Sniff was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kendall Decker, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in August.

Pueblo South's record now sits at 5-11. As for Pueblo East, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season.

Pueblo South will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Pueblo Central at 5:00 p.m. Pueblo East will be paying especially close attention to the Colts' contest: after the Colts face off against the Wildcats, they'll take on Pueblo East again at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
