Baseball Recap: Morris Comes Up Short

Morris was the 10-2 winner over Kaneland when they last played one another back in May of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights on Monday. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Morris' defeat dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Kaneland, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-9-1 record this season.

While Morris had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
