Softball Recap: Woodward-Granger Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Woodward-Granger waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 win over the Tri-Center Trojans.

Woodward-Granger's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.3 runs over those games. As for Tri-Center, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Coincidentally, Woodward-Granger and Tri-Center will both be playing Fremont-Mills the next time they take the field. The Hawks will host the Knights at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Trojans will play them later in the day, at 6:30 p.m.
