Soccer Game Preview: Polytechnic vs. Flintridge Prep

Polytechnic is 0-10 against Flintridge Prep since April of 2021 but things could change on Friday. The Panthers will host Wolves at 3:15 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Polytechnic comes in on four and Flintridge Prep on seven.

It was a proper cat-fight when Polytechnic took on Westridge on Friday. The Panthers came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 5-3. Given Polytechnic's advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 164th, while Westridge are ranked 484th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Flintridge Prep won against Maranatha on Friday with five goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Wednesday. Wolves were the clear victors by a 5-1 margin over Westridge. With Flintridge Prep ahead 3-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

They hit Westridge with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Anjuli Rao (2), Julia Krause (2), and Jaydah Henderson.

Flintridge Prep's victory bumped their record up to 10-4-3. As for Polytechnic, their win bumped their record up to 10-3.
