Soccer Recap: Kennedy Takes a Loss

Despite a strong season so far, Kennedy has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They were one goals away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Dos Pueblos Chargers. Nelly Becerril was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on her (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Kennedy's goal came courtesy of Emily Diaz, who's now up to two this season.

Kennedy's loss dropped their record down to 6-2-1. As for Dos Pueblos, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1-2.

Kennedy has already played their next matchup, a 1-0 defeat against Canyon on the 28th. As for Dos Pueblos, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 1-0 loss against Valencia on the 28th.
