Basketball Recap: Rachaely Yaya's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Maria Carrillo over Marin Catholic

Maria Carrillo and Marin Catholic squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Maria Carrillo had to settle for second. They took a 47-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marin Catholic Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pumas of the 56-41 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.
