Soccer Game Preview: Oaks Christian vs. Thousand Oaks

The Oaks Christian Lions will square off against the Thousand Oaks Lancers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Oaks Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.1 goals per game this season.

Thousand Oaks is hoping to do what Buena couldn't on Friday: put an end to Oaks Christian's winning streak, which now stands at three games. Oaks Christian never let Buena onto the board and left with a 5-0 win. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by three goals or more this season.

They hit Buena with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Charlotte Ward (2), Lauren Gatien, Arya Pfeiffer, and Scarlette Druian.

Meanwhile, Thousand Oaks had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They and Cleveland finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Friday. The result (or lack thereof) marked the Lancers' first draw of the season.

Thousand Oaks' draw makes their record 3-4-1 this season. As for Oaks Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 10-0-1.
