Football Recap: Coon Rapids Comes Up Short

The Coon Rapids Cardinals came up short against the Eastview Lightning on Friday and fell 21-14.

Coon Rapids' defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Eastview, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Coon Rapids will square off against Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cardinals will be up against the Wolfpack's rather soft defense (which has allowed 44 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Eastview, they will face off against Hopkins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
