Football Recap: Macksville Comes Up Short

Macksville fell victim to Ness City and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a blow against the Eagles, falling 48-0. The Mustangs just can't catch a break and have now endured eight defeats in a row dating back to last season.

Keaton Burns threw for 36 yards on three of 12 attempts. On the ground, Gavin Rose rushed for 27 yards.

Macksville's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Ness City, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Macksville has already played their next matchup, a 56-6 defeat against Stafford on the 26th. As for Ness City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 34-18 loss against Quinter on the 26th.
