Baseball Game Preview: Windham Eagles vs. Falmouth Navigators

Windham hasn't had much luck against Falmouth recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Navigators at 4:30 p.m. Windham has given up an average of 8.9 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Windham took on Marshwood on Tuesday. The Eagles came up short against the Hawks, falling 13-3.

Mason Rulman was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Cheverus typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Falmouth proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Stags by a score of 5-2. The Navigators haven't had any issues with the Stags recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Falmouth's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Caden Berry, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI. Harper Drosdik also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Falmouth's record is now 8-5. As for Windham, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11.

Windham might still be hurting after the 12-0 defeat they got from Falmouth when the teams last played back in May of 2025. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
