Clovis North saw some tournament action on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Paso Robles Bearcats, sneaking past 42-40. The 42-point effort marked the Broncos' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

When it comes to explaining why Paso Robles lost, don't look at Genesis Gavilanes. Despite the final result, she shot 58% from the field en route to 15 points. Thanks to that strong game, Gavilanes now owns an excellent 48.6% shooting accuracy.

Clovis North now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Paso Robles, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Clovis North didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 59-19 victory against San Luis Obispo on the 6th. As for Paso Robles, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 46-43 loss against Corona del Mar on the 6th.
