Softball Recap: Hominy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Gore on Thursday, Hominy came back down to earth. The Bucks fell just short of the Drumright Tornadoes by a score of 7-6 on Thursday. The Bucks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tornadoes earlier this season, when they won 7-0.

Hominy's loss dropped their record down to 29-3. As for Drumright, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-9-1.

Hominy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Drumright, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-7 win against Seiling on the 2nd.
