Softball Game Preview: South Forsyth War Eagles vs. North Atlanta Warriors

The South Forsyth War Eagles will face off against the North Atlanta Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

South Forsyth took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They came out on top against Mountain View by a score of 10-7. The win was a breath of fresh air for the War Eagles as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

North Atlanta came out on top against Lovett on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run second inning. The Warriors put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 12-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won four in a row.

North Atlanta's victory bumped their record up to 6-17. As for South Forsyth, their win bumped their record up to 9-16.

South Forsyth beat North Atlanta 4-0 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the War Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
