Pepperell is 7-1 against Trion since February of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Dragons will challenge the Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. Pepperell is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.3 runs per game this season.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Pepperell and Model, and Pepperell kept the tradition alive. The Dragons never let the Blue Devils get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Friday. Considering the Dragons have won 13 contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Not much got past Cooper Middleton, who gave up just four hits to keep Model off the board.

At the plate, JP Kilgo and Sam Ross did most of the damage at the plate: Kilgo went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double, while Ross scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Tucker Glenn was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, after soaring to ten runs the game before, Trion was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They fell just short of Darlington by a score of 3-2. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pepperell's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-6. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Trion, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-6.

Pepperell couldn't quite get it done against Trion in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 as they fell 8-5. Can the Dragons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
