Baseball Recap: Linn-Mar Comes Up Short

Linn-Mar fell victim to Prairie and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Fighting Hawks, falling 10-0. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Fighting Hawks recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Linn-Mar's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Prairie, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Coincidentally, Linn-Mar and Prairie will both be playing Valley the next time they take the field. The Fighting Hawks will host the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Lions will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
