South Central has gone a perfect 3-0 against Oxford recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Timberwolves will welcome the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Oxford will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: South Central extended their winning streak to seven on Friday. The Timberwolves blew past Skyline, posting a 68-14 win. The Timberwolves' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Easton Huck and Coda Lindsay were among the main playmakers for South Central as the former rushed for 64 yards and a pair of TDs on only five carries and the latter rushed for 135 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. What's more, Huck racked up 165 passing yards, the most he's had since back in November of 2024.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Oxford). They claimed a resounding 65-6 victory over Udall. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won seven in a row.
Oxford's win came from a few key players South Central will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Logan Gaither, who rushed for 149 yards and three scores on only five carries. Gaither is crushing it when it comes to rushing touchdowns: he's punched in at least two every time he's taken the field this season. Another back making a difference was Xzavier McClamy, who rushed for 96 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only six carries.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Oxford was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 295 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 241 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Oxford's defense and their six sacks. Brock Monson was especially locked on to Udall's QB and sacked him twice.
South Central's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Oxford, their win bumped their record up to 6-0.
Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. South Central has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 169.1 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Oxford struggles in that department as they've been averaging 278.5 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Everything came up roses for South Central against Oxford when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 78-32 victory. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Wildcats' Cordell Jordan, who rushed for 189 yards and three TDs while picking up 7.9 yards per carry.
