Baseball Recap: Augusta Takes a Loss

Augusta lost to Osseo-Fairchild last Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Beavers took an 11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Thunder. The Beavers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Augusta saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Owen Lee, who went 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Josh Shong was another, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs.

Augusta's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Osseo-Fairchild, they pushed their record up to 11-8 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Augusta will face off against Spring Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Osseo-Fairchild, they will square off against Mondovi at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
