Soccer Game Preview: Mountain View vs. Roosevelt

The Mountain View Mountain Lions will take on the Roosevelt Roughriders at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Mountain View's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for seven straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Mountain View fell victim to Greeley Central and their airtight defense on Monday. They lost 8-0 to the Wildcats. While losing is never fun, Mountain View can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 209th, while Greeley Central are ranked 26th).

Meanwhile, Roosevelt also failed to score in their most recent game. They fell just short of Severance by a score of 1-0 on Thursday.

Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Mountain View, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.
