Basketball Recap: Greater Johnstown Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Greater Johnstown lost against Forest Hills back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Greater Johnstown Trojans lost to the Forest Hills Rangers on the road by a 53-36 margin. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Forest Hills to victory, but perhaps none more so than Eva Myers, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 boards. That's the most rebounds Myers has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Paxtyn Pcola, who posted six points in addition to five boards and four steals.

Greater Johnstown's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-8. As for Forest Hills, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 13-7.

Greater Johnstown has already played their next contest (against Bishop Carroll), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Forest Hills will take on Westmont Hilltop at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Forest Hills is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.7 points per game this season.
