Soccer Recap: Madison Takes a Loss

Madison's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 2-0 to the Canyon Hills Rattlers . While losing is never fun, the Warhawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 720th, while the Rattlers are ranked 200th).

Madison dropped their record down to 7-9 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Canyon Hills, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-1-2.

Madison will face off against Mira Mesa at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Mira Mesa will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Madison surely won't give up without a fight. Canyon Hills has already played their next matchup (against Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
