Baseball Recap: Bell County Comes Up Short

After flying high against Middlesboro last Monday, Bell County came back down to earth. The Bobcats fell just short of the Knox Central Panthers by a score of 7-6 on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, with their most recent loss being a 12-4 defeat back in April.

Holden Clark was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Cooper Brock was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Bell County's loss dropped their record down to 16-10. As for Knox Central, the victory (which was their 20th in a row) raised their record to 27-6.

As of now, neither Bell County nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
