Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three contests, Western Christian finally came back down to earth on Friday. They lost 4-1 to Ontario Christian. The Fighting Lancers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those six games. As for Western Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-3-3.
