Volleyball Recap: Freeman Victorious

Freeman's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Almeta Crawford Chargers 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Golden Eagles have posted since August 22nd.

Freeman had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 20-25, 22-25, 25-16, 25-21, 25-10.

Zelma Patrick paced Freeman's offense, picking up 12 kills. Patrick got some help from Georgia Walker and her 21 assists. Walker was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.
