Zeke McDonald spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits.
On the hitting side, Chris Wood was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Hott, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Robert C. Byrd has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Hampshire struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 5.1 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Robert C. Byrd got the 'W' when the teams last played back in March against Hampshire by a conclusive 11-1 score. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
