Basketball Game Preview: Fallbrook Warriors vs. Mission Hills Grizzlies

The Fallbrook Warriors will challenge the Mission Hills Grizzlies at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Fallbrook has struggled recently with ten losses in a row, while Mission Hills will arrive with four straight wins.

On Tuesday, Fallbrook took a blow against Westview, falling 77-22. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 480th, while the Wolverines are ranked 73rd).

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Mission Hills over Del Norte in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Mission Hills blew Del Norte out of the water with a 91-22 final score. The Grizzlies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 21 points or more this season.

Fallbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Mission Hills, their victory bumped their record up to 19-8.

Fallbrook was dealt a bruising 93-55 loss at the hands of Mission Hills in their previous meeting back in January. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Mission Hills' Hc Harding, who went 11 of 23 to rack up 31 points and three steals.
