Softball Recap: Indianola Comes Up Short

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Indianola and Norwalk, and Norwalk kept the tradition alive. The Indians lost 11-1 to the Warriors on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, with their most recent loss being a 6-5 defeat on Wednesday.

Indianola has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-13 record this season. As for Norwalk, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 26-3.

Indianola has already played their next matchup, a 17-0 victory against Pella Christian on the 27th. Norwalk has also already played their next game (against Oskaloosa), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
