The third road contest was the charm for St. Mary, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They blew past the Loyola Blakefield Dons 72-45 on Monday. The Saints pushed the score to 55-27 by the end of the third, a deficit the Dons cut but never quite recovered from.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Mary's to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ezra Rich, who shot 47% from the field en route to 15 points and seven boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Johnson, who went 6-for-13 on his way to 14 points in addition to seven rebounds and five assists.

St. Mary's was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Loyola Blakefield only racked up five.

The win got St. Mary's back to even at 3-3. As for Loyola Blakefield, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
