The matchup between Tattnall Square Academy and Prince Avenue Christian on Saturday hardly resembled the 3-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Tattnall Square Academy Trojans fell 12-8 to the Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines. One positive for the Trojans, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Caden Mcgreggor and Marquez Wilson stepped up to the plate in a big way. Mcgreggor scored a run while going 2-for-3, while Wilson scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. Anson Talcott also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Tattnall Square Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Prince Avenue Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tattnall Square Academy will challenge Bulloch Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Prince Avenue Christian, they will take on Lake Oconee Academy at 5:55 p.m. on Tuesday. Prince Avenue Christian's pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so Lake Oconee Academy's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
