Aransas Pass unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 54-36 bruising from the Ingleside Mustangs on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost four in a row.

Ingleside's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Aransas Pass will welcome Rockport-Fulton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ingleside, they will host Bishop at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
