Soccer Recap: North Oconee Takes a Loss

North Oconee's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They came up short against the Walnut Grove Warriors, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, North Oconee can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 139th, while Walnut Grove are ranked 48th).

North Oconee now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Walnut Grove, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

North Oconee will face off against Jefferson at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Walnut Grove, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 10-0 victory against Social Circle on the 17th.
