Recap: Oceana Sharks vs. Jefferson Grizzlies
After flying high against the Eastside College Prep Panthers last Wednesday, the Oceana Sharks came back down to earth. Oceana took a 53-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Jefferson on Thursday. Oceana lost against Jefferson in their previous head to head back in February, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 53-35 score last time.
Grace Wang was a one-man wrecking crew for Jefferson as she dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jerzey Gallegos, who scored 13 points along with 5 steals.
Oceana now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Jefferson, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oceana will take on Drew at TBD on Tuesday. As for Jefferson, they will be playing at home against South San Francisco at 6:00 p.m. on December 9th.
