Basketball Recap: Beyer Comes Up Short

Beyer played a tough matchup on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Livingston Wolves, falling 59-36.

Despite the loss, Beyer still got an impressive performance from Kylie Kulina, who posted 22 points. That's the most points Kulina has posted since back in February of 2024.

Elizabeth Avila had an outrageously good game for Livingston as she shot 5-for-9 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten boards. Avila is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played. Another player making a difference was Dalia Castro, who went 6 for 13 en route to 12 points and seven rebounds.

Beyer's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Livingston, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-7.

Beyer wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 76-53 win against Central Valley on the 9th. As for Livingston, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 42-29 loss against Grace Davis on the 9th.
