Softball Recap: Murray County Takes a Loss

Murray County suffered their closest loss since September 24, 2024 on Monday. They fell just short of the Dade County Wolverines by a score of 3-1. The Indians were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wolverines earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Murray County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Blaklee Ledford, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run.

Murray County has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Dade County, they pushed their record up to 17-4 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Murray County has already played their next contest, an 8-0 defeat against Sonoraville on the 18th. As for Dade County, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-0 win against Gordon Central on the 16th.
