Baseball Recap: Elbert County's Run of Five Straight Wins Now Over

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Elbert County can now relate to. They came up short against the Academy for Classical Education Gryphons on Friday, falling 8-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Blue Devils have suffered since April 12, 2024.

Elbert County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brooks Banks, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.
