Basketball Recap: Redlands Takes a Loss

Redlands was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a blow against the Lakeside Lancers, falling 47-20.

Lakeside's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Angela Serrano led the charge by putting up 22 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Elise Henderson, who posted nine points and three steals.

Redlands' defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Lakeside, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-4.

Redlands will take on Redlands East Valley in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lakeside and Citrus Hill will compete for holiday cheer at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
