Football Recap: Aitkin Skates Past Rush City with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Aitkin). They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 49-22 win over the Rush City Tigers. Winning may never get old, but the Gobblers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Aitkin's record now sits at 5-1. As for Rush City, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Aitkin is set to square off against their familiar foe Hinckley-Finlayson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Rush City will take on rival Crosby-Ironton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
