Woodcreek won the last time they faced Granite Bay and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Timberwolves claimed a resounding 69-30 win over the Grizzlies. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 39-16.

Woodcreek got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ariel Thomas out in front who went 7-for-15 to rack up 20 points. Those 20 points gave Thomas a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Chloe Preuss, who shot 45% from the field en route to 15 points.

Woodcreek's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.6 points over those games. As for Granite Bay, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Woodcreek is headed away from home for the first time to take on West Park at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Granite Bay, they will head out to square off against Placer at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
