Football Recap: Ravenna Find Success

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Ravenna ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They snuck past the McKinley Red Dragons with a 27-21 victory. This was payback for the Ravens, who suffered a 35-21 loss the last time these two teams met.

Despite the loss, McKinley still got an impressive performance from Vince Broll, who rushed for 111 yards and a pair of scores on only 13 carries.

Ravenna's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for McKinley, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Ravenna wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 56-24 defeat against Norton on the 12th. As for McKinley, they have also already played their next matchup, a 51-7 loss against Hubbard on the 12th.
