Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Thatcher). They claimed a resounding 85-56 victory over the Douglas Bulldogs. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 22 points or more this season.
Isaac Palmer was his usual excellent self, going 8 of 12 en route to 23 points along with six rebounds and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Wade Hull, who went 6 of 11 en route to 20 points.
They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Thatcher was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2024.
Despite the loss, Douglas still got an impressive performance from Ryan Felix, who went 10 of 25 on his way to 28 points. The dominant performance gave Felix a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bruno Maytorena, who posted seven points.
Thatcher's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Douglas, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.
