Nemaha Central put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They had just enough and edged out the Sabetha Bluejays 20-18. Those 20 points were actually the fewest the Thunder have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Carter Hajek had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 119 yards and one score, while also throwing for 159 yards and one touchdown on only 14 passes.

Nemaha Central's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Sabetha, their loss dropped their record down to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Nemaha Central will venture away from home to challenge Royal Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sabetha, they will welcome Oskaloosa on Friday. The Bluejays are facing the Bears at the right time seeing as the Bears are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
