Baseball Recap: Sonoraville Takes a Loss

Sonoraville lost against North Cobb Christian last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Phoenix might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 8-1 to the Eagles, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Phoenix have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sonoraville's loss dropped their record down to 8-16. As for North Cobb Christian, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 14-7.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Sonoraville is set to face off against their familiar foe Ringgold at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, North Cobb Christian will challenge rival Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
