Basketball Recap: Homestead Comes Up Short

Homestead lost against Fremont back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Homestead Mustangs were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 45-44 to the Fremont Firebirds. The Mustangs' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Homestead's loss dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Fremont, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-12.

Looking ahead, Homestead will face off against Milpitas at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fremont, they will host Los Gatos at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
