Baseball Recap: Mendon Unity Triumphs

Mendon Unity came out on top against Quincy Notre Dame on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run seventh inning. The Mustangs walked away with an 8-5 win over the Raiders. The game was the first time the Mustangs have beaten the Raiders on their field since March 16, 2019.

Mendon Unity let Avery Frese and Elijah Parsons run wild. Frese went 3-for-4 with two runs and one double, while Parsons went 4-for-5 with three RBI. Those four hits gave Parsons a new career-high.

Mendon Unity kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are 7-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

Mendon Unity's record now sits at 11-9. As for Quincy Notre Dame, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-16.
