Baseball Recap: Brantley County Takes a Loss

Brantley County managed to slip by Thomasville the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Herons lost 9-0 to the Bulldogs on Friday. The Herons were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 5-4.

Brantley County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colt Thrift, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Brantley County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-19. As for Thomasville, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-17.

Brantley County has already played their next matchup, a 9-6 loss against Charlton County on the 5th. As for Thomasville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 9-6 defeat against Berrien on the 8th.
