Baseball Recap: Meadowcreek Comes Up Short at Home Against Central Gwinnett

Meadowcreek unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Central Gwinnett Black Knights on Tuesday, falling 26-1. The Mustangs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Black Knights from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Meadowcreek saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aaron Hollis, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Central Gwinnett's win ended a 12-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-0.

Coming up, Meadowcreek will be playing at home against Discovery at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Central Gwinnett, they will host Meadowcreek at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
