Baseball Recap: Chapel Hill Panthers vs. Carrollton Trojans
Chapel Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 16-1 to the Carrollton Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, with their most recent loss being a 11-1 defeat on Wednesday.
Chapel Hill saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mykah Pelzer, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one double.
Chapel Hill's loss dropped their record down to 8-17. As for Carrollton, they pushed their record up to 20-9 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
Chapel Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Carrollton, they are taking a road trip to square off against Northside at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Patriots will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Trojans surely won't give up without a fight.
